My Why…
I’m Nadxiieli but most people call me Shelly for short!
My love for pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum was not started like most others in this line of work. It started with the mothers around me, mothers who could not have children of their own. I, and all of my siblings, are adopted. As years went on and I learned how motherhood starts I quickly realized how labor, birth, and postpartum touches every aspect of life whether we acknowledge it or not. It wasn’t until I became pregnant and birthed my own that seen the fullness and the extreme importance of supportting every mother beginning at and I would argue even before conception!
All this being said supporting mothers find strength in creating and bringing forth life is a passion that I am thankful I have crossed paths with!

Capturing your labor and birth experience
When working with me you have the option of having your experience captured to keep forever. Since a child I have been an artist. Growing up you could either find me oil painting, or drawing with charcoal. Now days photography has been my medium of choice! And nothing fills my cup more than getting to capture the biggest moment of an expecting mothers life!

When I am not working with you…
you can find me exploring the great outdoors with my dear husband and three little blessings! When I am not doing that, I am buried in books as I am also a student midwife. Some other hobbies I love to dabble in are photography, iconography, baking, and gardening!
